DINING HALL (Adopted by District E1 for 3 years)(new construction on existing structure)
Includes the following items: Insulate and cover slanted roof in dining area, Insulate and cover walls, install second floor in serving area, update compressor and refrigerant in walk-in cooler, replace stacking convection ovens, repair and clean kitchen floor, gutters and downspouts on NE roofs, new cover on grease traps, stain exterior walls, build handicap accessible boys and girls bathrooms, install metal roof and insulationon all of building. ADA signs.
SHOWERS NEAR THE PLAYGROUND (new construction to existing structure)
Addition of building for 4 shower stalls for use by off duty staff and students. This will include excavation, concrete, plumbing, a water heater, lighting, etc.
NEW INFIRMARY (new construction)
Avon Lions Club has expressed interest in doing this project. It will include it's own well. Estimate $140,000.
STAFF HOTEL (new construction to existing structure)
Install a new foundation and cellar, heating and air conditioning system and well. Estimate $70,000
Add an ADA compliant ramp at rear entrance with signs. Convert one bedroom to ADA compliant bath room with signs.
LAKE HOUSE (repairs and new construction on existing structure)
Roof replacement on old section, refurbish upstairs room for sleeping, add two dormers, add a door and stairs for exit.
Add additional insulation in ceiling over bedrooms.
Separate water lines that run to the office and Smith pavilion. Provide shutoff valves for each.
Change ramp to be compliant with ADA with signs.
Must have one ADA compliant bathroom and shower with signs. Probably have to change bedroom #3 to be the compliant area.
CABINS 24-25 and 26-27
Remove steps to the porches. Add an ADA compliant ramp on each with signs. Add an ADA compliant toilet and shower with signs. Add a tankless hot water heater.
Check all doors for proper swing to be compliant and sills level with floor.
CHAPEL ( necessary maintainence)
Roof on south side needs repair. It appears that the shingles were not installed properly as many of them are coming loose and falling off. There have not been any leaks yet, due to the steepness of the roof, but attention to this problem will need to be addressed soon.
Make the front entrance ADA compliant. Ramp and door with signs.
Raise the rear platform to sill height and add crushed stone around the platform.
CAMP OFFICE (improvements and new construction on existing structure)
Rebuild front porch into closed and insulated room to increase office space, add insulation in attic, re-route heat ducts, improve water supply from Lake House, replace old windows. Add small water heater. Replace front doors-$200 donated by Massena LC for this. Add ADA compliant ramp and bathroom with signs.
SHIPPING CONTAINERS (electric)
Relocate shipping containers from parking lot to office area, run electric supply.
CAMPING AREA (new area)(Greenfield Lions)
A new camping area across the creek from Uplinger. Reason? Closer to sanitary facilities than the old one and better security. One tent platform has been installed.
CABIN FOUNDATIONS (improvements)
Straighten support posts and provide improved foundations on several cabins. Improved foundations could be concrete, block or railroad ties.

DOCKS (new construction)
Construct a cantilevered fishing dock with railings and seats on the west bank. Partially done. Provide floating docks for boating and canoeing on the east shore.(Depew Lions?) Examples: www.e-zdock.com or www.connectadock.com , others?
AREA LIGHTING (improvements)
Several area lights have been added, but for the blind/visually impaired program, more need to be installed.
ELECTRIC SYSTEM (improvements)
New guy wire anchors are needed to support the system. There are several guy wires that are attached to trees that are rotten.
UPGRADE PLAYGROUND (improvements)
New equipment, leveling what is there, covering the area with cushioning material. Ex. www.fun-zone.computer, www.gametime.com, www.playlsi.com, www.detailedplay.com (reasonable prices)
There is a proposal from Gametime for new equipment and ground cover. If it is accepted, money donations will be needed because installation is included.
Add ADA compliant pathway to the playground.
SWIMMING POOL AREA
Install a solar pool heater. www.TheEnergySuperMarket.com, www.intheswim.com. www.recsupply.com Add ADA compliant lift for wheelchair access. Make doorways compliant with signs.
Construct a miniature golf course. Ex. www.lommagolf.com (new)(Ithaca LC?)

Complete wiring for emergency generator, north end. (almost completed)
TELEPHONE SYSTEM
Our Nortel telephone system got blitzed by lightning last year. The DG, at that time, from 20-Y1 works for Eastern Copy in Syracuse. They were in the process of upgrading their system, so he made arrangements to have their old system donated to us. Their technicians came down and installed it.
